'30 Rock': No Palin, but Palinishness

I got an advance peek at the first two episodes of "30 Rock," and they are worth the wait, for sure. True to form, there's a Dick Cheney joke within the first minute of the first episode. I will write more about the show closer to the premiere date, Oct. 30.

But if you're wondering whether or not Tina Fey will bring her Sarah Palin to "30 Rock," don't get excited. There's no "You betcha"-ism in the half hours that I watched. However, there is a guest stint in the premiere by Megan Mullally, who plays a rather severe adoption agency representative who is following Liz Lemon and judging her every more. And I must say, it was very Palin-ish to see both Fey and Mullally together, since they both look so much like the Republican vice presidential nominee. No Palin, but Palinishness.
