The Grammys Want You

This is too much, but then awards shows are desperate to cultivate viewers. On Wednesday night at 9, CBS is promoting February’s Grammy telecast by announcing the nominees during a live gala concert. LL Cool J and Taylor Swift will host, with scheduled performances by Celine Dion, Foo Fighters, Mariah Carey, and B.B. King.

Maybe next year the network will have a concert to promote the nominations concert that will promote the awards-show concert?
