Friday TV tidbits
1) On the "Scrubs" front, the Hollywood Reporter suggests that plans for a ninth season seem to be moving forward, as more and more stars sign deals to appear in some or all episodes.
2) The New York Post reports that HBO is planning a Ted Kennedy documentary, set to air in July, based on archival footage and never-before-seen home videos.
3) If you're a horror fan, you might be addicted to FEARnet, a 24-hour/on-demand horror network. But if you're a horror fan who gets Time Warner cable, you might notice that the network is gone. Now, fans and supporters are petitioning the cable company to restore the channel via a Facebook group. The deadline for sign-ups is today.
4) As the "Jon and Kate Plus 8" premiere buzz builds (the new season starts May 25 on TLC), US Weekly shares before-and-after pictures of Kate and reports that she is "obsessed with tanning." Wow.

On his Thursday night show, Jay Leno trotted out a copy of "People" magazine with Jon & Kate on the cover and asked: "Who are these people?" Here's a guy who's in the center of the media maelstrom and he's never even HEARD of J&K. All I know is that when I check out the TV listings in the 'g' section, I notice that "J&K+8" takes up hour-after-hour on what used to be called 'The Learning Channel'.
Ridiculous. The first photo looks like it was taken right after she gave birth (she has hospital ID bracelets all up her arm). Of course she is thinner now!!!!
