Hmm. This is good news, kinda. Larry David is saying that he plans to bring back "Curb Your Enthusiasm" for an eighth season. "I'm leaning towards it," he told TV Guide last night at the Paley Festival. "So I would say there's a good chance." The deal is not definite yet, although it's hard to image anything getting in the way. Last season, "Curb" and its "Seinfeld" reunion brought in the show's best ratings in years for HBO.

Bob Einstein, who is Marty Funkhouser on the show, was a more openly excited cheerleader for another season. "I thought that this year was a real upper," he said. "It brought a lot of excitement back to everything and I think it would kind of sad and stupid to stop now. There's no reason to." (BTW: "Curb" reruns will be appearing on basic cable in the near future -- on the TV Guide Network, of all places.)

I do love "Curb," and I did love the "Seinfeld" reunion last season. But otherwise, the series has been on the verge of getting stale in recent years. So I have mixed feelings about another round of episodes. You?
