This is pretty funny and sweet. Chilean miner Edison Pena appeared (with a translator) on "David Letterman" last night, answering questions about being trapped with 32 other men. Midway through the interview, after telling Dave that he preferred to sing alone rather than with the other guys, Pena bursts into some of Elvis Presley's "Suspicious Minds" and the band joins in (it starts at the 4 minute mark). It's just a little bit of awesome.
Naturally -- predictably -- if the clip goes viral in a big way, we'll be seeing more of Edison Pena singing -- on a reality contest, say, or on a morning show. No shrinking violet, he.
