The poster of History Channel's "The Kennedys" miniseries has been leaked online. It looks a little too silly to take seriously, what with Katie Holmes as Jackie. But we'll see, when the eight-parter airs next year. As you can probably figure out from the poster, Greg Kinnear is JFK, Barry Pepper is Bobby Kennedy, and Tom Wilkinson is Joe Kennedy. Also on the cast list: Chris Diamantopoulos as ... Frank Sinatra.

The project -- History Channel's first scripted miniseries -- has already caused a bit of controversy: Historians who looked at an early version of the script criticized it for factual errors and for being a right-wing hatchet job. At one point in that early script, President Kennedy says about his infidelity, "If I don't have someone new, I have migraines that wreck me." "The Kennedys" is from Joel Surnow, the outspoken conservative best known for "24."
