So, we're almost 90 minutes in and we've seen some repeat winners: "The Daily Show," "The Amazing Race," Jim Parsons. There has been at least one surprise that probably upset many office pools: Melissa McCarthy. And loads of love for "Modern Family."
Overall, though the show has been hit and miss with the best bit being the faux beauty pageant that preceded McCarthy's win with all of the Best Actress in a Comedy contenders lined-up and then presenting her with a tiara and roses.
Oh, and it's time to relegate the Emmytones to the web.
Still waiting on a big moment.
