After hinting in the press for months that she may not return to "American Idol," Jennifer Lopez has confirmed she will no longer judge the Fox singing competition.
The superstar broke the news to "Idol" host Ryan Seacrest on July 13 on his radio show. The news comes a day after Steven Tyler announced his departure from the show. As of press time, the sole remaining judge is Randy Jackson, the only critic who has remained since the beginning of the show.
As far as a possible replacement for Lopez or Tyler, powerhouse diva Mariah Carey is reportedly in talks to join the hit show.
