'Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars' pairings announced

The pairings for the upcoming season of "Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars" were announced this morning by ABC. EW.com broke down the announcement into two categories: 1. partnered in the past, and 2. new pairings.

Among the previously paired:
Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas;
Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke;
Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson;
Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy;
and Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani.

While new partnerships will include:
Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff;
Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya;
Helio Castroneves and Chelsie Hightower;
Kelly Monaco and Valentin Chmerkovskiy
Gilles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd;
Pamela Anderson and Tristan MacManus;
and Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough.

The network still has one all-star slot open and is giving viewers the chance to vote for "DWTS" alum Carson Kressley, Kyle Massey, or Sabrina Bryan to join the show. The season begins Sept. 24 on ABC.
