Nick Jonas confirmed via Twitter that the "American Idol" team has tapped him for a potential post on next season's judging panel. Rumors have been swirling that the 19-year-old Jonas was up for the gig after US Weekly cited a source last week stating: "[American Idol producers] think he can help bring that younger demo to the show."
In response, Jonas tweeted: "The rumors are true... I am being considered to be a judge on American Idol, and it would be a dream come true if it happens. #nickonidol" on Aug. 4.
What do you think? Should Jonas join "Idol" as a judge? What about Pharrell or Carey?
