'Honey Boo Boo' star Mama June on 'Dancing With The Stars'? Doesn't seem so
An ABC insider told The New York Daily News that Honey Boo Boo's mom, June Shannon (at right) would be joining this season's cast of "Dancing With The Stars," but TLC denied the report to The Huffington Post this week.
Although Shannon (who reportedly lost more than 100 pounds) will not make an appearance, you may see "Jersey Shore" star and self-proclaimed "meatball" Deena Cortese on the hardwood next season. Cortese is reportedly vying for a spot on the reality competition series, according to a Hollyscoop.com video (below).
Lindsay Lohan reportedly turned down "Dancing" as well, but other rumored potential contestants include new mom and reality star Kourtney Kardashian, boxer Victor Ortiz, and former "Bachelorette" star Emily Maynard.
The official cast will be announced on Feb. 26 on "Good Morning America."
If we could have our way, we'd load the "Dancing With the Stars" cast with Hub-related celebrities.
