Justin Timberlake to host 'SNL' March 9, appear on 'Fallon' for a week
Justin Timberlake is set to return to the "Saturday Night Live" stage. He will host the show and perform as musical guest on March 9, just 10 days before releasing his latest studio album, "The 20/20 Experience."
Timberlake is no stranger to "SNL." This will be his fifth hosting gig and he has famously appeared in videos with Andy Samberg's comedy troupe "The Lonely Island" and in a "Single Ladies" dancers send-up alongside Beyonce (below).
The singer-actor is also set to appear on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" for five consecutive nights, March 11-15, after taping "SNL," according to Globe TV critic Matthew Gilbert. The new king of pop will perform a song off "The 20/20 Experience" every night, in addition to being interviewed on the Monday and Friday shows.
Fallon and JT also share a history. The duo collaborated on a series of hip-hop duos, titled "History of Rap, Pt. 1" (seen below), "History of Rap, Pt. 2," and "History of Rap, Pt. 3."
Are there enough hip-hop songs for a fourth? We'll find out in a few weeks!
