Beverly's Angela Miller performed during the semi-finals of "American Idol" last night, blowing the judges away, yet again, with her performance of "Never Gone," an original piece by former "Idol" contestant Colton Dixon.
"The trumpets just sound when you walk in the room, little girl," said judge Nicki Minaj. "It's safe to say, there is one vote that is counted after that performance. The fact that you have your own signature sound, it's incredible."
Minaj, as well as the other judges, have been consistently supportive of Miller's performances throughout the competition.
"Yo America. A star is born on that stage," said Randy Jackson. "Angie is going places. I'm telling you something. It's like I was at your show already. I just love the honesty with your delivery. It seems effortless. You're doing exactly the right thing in the right way. Keep going."
Thursday the top 10 girls (and top 10 guys) will each shrink down to five before the show returns to L.A. for the remainder of the show's live performance rounds.
