Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman continued to impress the judges on “Dancing With the Stars” Monday night.

The 18-year-old Needham native and her partner Mark Ballas garnered a total of 24 points in the second episode of the season, for what Carrie Ann Inaba called “the best quickstep of the night.” Raisman’s 24-point performance, combined with last week’s 21-point cha-cha, put her in third place with 45 total points.

Disney actress Zendaya Coleman and partner Val Chmerkovskiy (above) are in first place with a total of 50 points out of a possible 60, followed by country singer Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough (47 points). The 12 competitors will find out their fate during the first elimination show of the season Tuesday at 9 p.m. on ABC.
