Jack's back.

Fox aired four 15-second clips alluding to the return of "24" during the Super Bowl on Feb. 2, but it was the 48-second promo for "24: Live Another Day" that solidified the rousing suspicions. The network gave the upcoming 12-episode season of the Jack Bauer-centered series a premiere date of May 5.

The longest trailer (above) showed us three things:

1. A super-magnified Union Jack (so he's in London, we knew that)
2. Bauer emerging from what we're guessing is London rubble, with his his arm around a living, cloaked-in-black Chloe (Mary Lynn Rajskub)
3. Bauer firing a pistol into the distance, screaming (suspenseful)

Here are the four short clips:

"24" ran an eight-season course from 2001-2010 and won two Golden Globes, including best television drama (2004) and best performance by a TV actor (Sutherland).
