Aaron Spelling, who died Friday at 83 after a stroke, unleashed upon the country some of our campiest, trampiest, and vampiest ladies, from Joan Collins and Heather Locklear to Shannen Doherty and Farrah Fawcett.

Spelling was photographed with Joan Collins at the Costume Designers Guild Awards in February 2000. He launched Collins' diva career, casting her as the vixen Alexis in the nighttime soap "Dynasty."
