Joseph Barbera, of the Hanna-Barbera animation team, died yesterday at 95. Hanna-Barbera created such lovable characters as Scooby-Doo, the Flintstones, and Tom and Jerry. The mischievous cat-and-mouse duo served as Hanna-Barbera's first success and went on to win seven Academy Awards, more than any other series with the same characters.
