Joseph Barbera (left) and William Hanna, here in 1988, teamed up while working at MGM in the 1930s and saw their success explode 30 years later with animated TV comedies such as “The Flintstones,” “The Jetsons,” “Yogi Bear,” and “Scooby-Doo.” In all, Barbera and Hanna produced more than 300 series for network and syndicated TV.
