Female anchors dominate Boston news

As layoffs and retirements cause news stations to shuffle and reorganize staff, female anchors have begun to rise to more prominence on Boston TV news. Here, a selection of the women doing just that.

Bianca De la Garza is among the latest, joining up with Boston TV mainstay Randy Price for WCVB's morning news.

On Tuesday she and her husband, WBZ anchor David Wade, confirmed they are splitting up after 12 years.
