More than 8,000 "American Idol" hopefuls had their chance to shine Sunday morning at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. All manner of singers braved the rain for a chance at "Idol" fame, pitting their voices against each other to see who would be asked to move on to the next round of tryouts to be held later in the summer.
