Sigmund and the Sea Monsters

1973 - 1975

Remember this one? Another Krofft creation, another trippy creature befriended by a human boy. This time, it's Sigmund (Billy Barty) who needs rescuing — from his mean-spirited family of sea monsters. After he's booted from his cave, he makes friends with Johnny (Johnny Whitaker) and his brother Scott and the three hide out in the boys' clubhouse. Cue the wacky plot lines. According to IMDb, a big screen version is projected for 2011.
