Land of the Lost

1974-1977; 1991-1992

The severely low-tech production in the Kroffts' original "Land of the Lost" is almost laughable now — all stop-motion miniatures and hand puppets passed off as the real thing. But there's something heartwarming and cult-worthy amidst all that kitsch. The '70s series was reprised in 1991, this time slightly more realistic (but no less kitschy), and was recently reincarnated for the big screen with Will Ferrell as the bumbling Rick Marshall.
