'Earth: Final Conflict'

With the resurgence of science fiction shows, Boston.com's entertainment staff decided to take a look at some of the sci-fi genre shows from yesteryear. Based on years of sci fi viewing experience and through a variety of online sources, we've come up with our picks for the Top 50 science fiction shows of all time.

Starting the list at Number 50: Earth: Final Conflict,' which aired from 1997 to 2002. It followed a basic, but popular, storyline about aliens who come to Earth and solve the planet's problems. But is there more? Are there any other intentions? Of course. The story focuses on a double agent, William Boone (played by Kevin Kilner), who is in search of the truth.
