Season two was a bust, so much that creator Tim Kring publicly apologized for its slow pace. But the signs of forthcoming creative disaster were all over the season one finale of "Heroes." It was a profound fizzle, with too many heroes and random plot strands drifting into non sequitur. "Heroes," so promising for much of its first season, became one of the fastest shows ever to jump the shark.
