OH SISTER

9. 'Alias'
The arrival of Nadia
(April 25, 2004)

During season three, Sydney (Jennifer Garner) discovered that her mother and Arvin Sloan had a child, Nadia. The twist arrived at a time when the plot of "Alias" was already spiraling out of control, and her presence made the big puzzle seem even more unsolvable. The forced intimacy between Nadia and Sydney didn't help, and neither did ABC's terrible decision to promote their bond in ads to the tune of "Sisters" from "White Christmas." "Alias" had officially lost its mojo.
