Dr. Elliot Kupferberg on "The Sopranos," played by Peter Bogdanovich (left with Lorraine Bracco)
He was the therapist's therapist, and ultimately, with the help of Bogdanovich's subtle performance, he was a creep. Elliot seemed to be helping Dr. Melfi deal with the morally twisted Tony Soprano, but was he actually envious of her for her famous client? He was one of many great bullies on "The Sopranos," as he pushed Melfi to reject Tony after humiliating her among friends.
