11. SYMPATHETIC

Dr. George Huang on "Law & Order: SVU," played by B.D. Wong (pictured)

Dude knows everything. Just give him a few forensic details, and he's ready with a diagnosis. "From what you're telling me," he'll say in his typically gentle way, "she has Dissociative Identity Disorder, or what we used to call multiple personalities." Unintentionally funny? Yes, sometimes. But, as the resident psychiatrist, Dr. Huang excels in helping young victims of sexual crimes. He knows how to walk the detectives through tough times, too.
