But first, Edith thinks she needs to brief Gloria about the wedding night, a lovely scene in which Gloria provides language for her stymied mother. Meanwhile, Archie is busy making Polish jokes and offending the groom. Later, though, he has an emotional moment with his daughter, saying “You’re still my little girl, and you always will be.” The height of the episode: Gloria calling down to the guests during the wedding march music, “I’m waiting for Daddy!” Then we hear the toilet flush.
