RadioBDC, Boston.com’s streaming alternative radio station, officially launched on Aug. 13 at noon. The studio was filled with RadioBDC staff, including former WFNX staffers, a select group of listeners, and staff from Boston.com and The Boston Globe. Also present was Dicky Barrett of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones (well, OK, he was on the phone) to announce RadioBDC’s first song ever, “I Want My City Back,” by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
