Joanna Weiss was reared on "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood" and came of age with "Diff'rent Strokes" and "Mr. Belvedere." She started her career covering politics and metro news for the Globe and the New Orleans Times-Picayune, but her TV-junkie status got the best of her: She found herself squeezing stories about "Survivor" into the news pages. Now, she devotes herself full-time to weighty matters of television and pop culture, while still keeping an eye on how politicians carry themselves on TV.
