On Seinfeld, George Costanza could regale a room with the best, OCD-approved bathrooms in New York City (The Met. Magnificent facilities.) So here in lies some of our OCD (thats Oooh! Cool! Dang!) water closets in town.

... according to Boston Movie Tours founder Jeff Coveney:
1. "The bench from
'Good Will Hunting,' where
Robin Williams and
Matt Damon have their heart-to-heart talk. It's a great scene - where they start to develop their relationship. And it's a beautiful area - it really
captures the
Boston Public Garden."
To get to the Boston Public Garden, take the Green Line to Boylston.
2. "I rate movies on three different things. The quality. Number of Boston scenes. And how inherent Boston is to the movie. So 'Good Will' is one of, if not the, top Boston movie. I also like the
L Street Tavern in South Boston. It highlights the whole South Boston culture - it's not glitzy, it's a neighborhood hang out."
For the L Street Tavern (658 East 8th St., South Boston), take the Red Line to Andrew, then go to Broadway and take #9 bus.
3. "
Fenway is a great place - there have been so many different movies and TV shows filmed there.
'A Civil Action' with
Robert Duvall.
'Blown Away.' And
'Fever Pitch' brought that to another level.
'Field of Dreams.' The
Red Sox are Boston."
Fenway - well, you know where that is.
4. "
The East Boston waterfront. Two movies - No. 1 was
'Blown Away' which blew up a big ship in the docks area, which blew out, like, 8,000 windows. And in that same area was the bar in
'Mystic River,' where
Tim Robbins met his fate. They built that bar from scratch."
You probably shouldn't hang out by the East Boston waterfront.
5. "
Doyle's Cafe in Jamaica Plain. Three movies were filmed there -
'Celtic Pride,' 'Mystic River,' the bar that
Sean Penn's daughter was dancing in, and
'Boston Public,' when they go drinking. On St. Paddy's Day, it's tremendous in there. You gotta go first thing in the morning or you can't get in."
And finally, for Doyle's (3484 Washington St., JP), take the Orange Line to Green St.

Although both the
Boston Red Sox and the
Boston Police frowning heavily upon purchasing tickets from the barking scalpers outside the park, there's still a ton of options for students and newcomers seeking tickets to the "lyrical little bandbox" known as
Fenway Park.
Tickets are regularly posted in the Boston portion of Craig's List (
www.craigslist.com),
Stub Hub ticketing agency (
www.stubhub.com) and other higher-priced licensed ticket services such as
Mr. Ticket (978-658-4810) and
Ace Ticket (1-800-MY-SEATS).
Another option is the Boston Red Sox
Replay service, a group of tickets re-sold to the Boston Red Sox that can be had at their Web site (
www.redsox.com).
One caveat to Replay: there's an annual $50 fee to gain membership to the service. But isn't Manny worth it?
However you feel about showtunes, blue men and one-man shows about German transvestites, there's one less reason to avoid the theater:
It's cheap, or can be if you know where to go. For half-price tickets day-of-show, head to the
Bostix booth in Copley Square
(MBTA: Green Line to Copley; Mon-Sat 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sun 11 a.m.-4 p.m.) or Faneuil Hall Marketplace
(MBTA: Green Line to Government Center; Tue-Sat 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sun 11 a.m.-4 p.m.) early in the day. Or go to the
ArtsBoston Web site(
www.artsboston.org), which offers discount tickets online. Also, for certain shows, look for Student Rush tickets day-of-show, right at the box office.
Emily Brinkert, Resident GM of Blue Man Group Boston, on how you can be an usher.
So how does it work? If I usher for Blue Man, I can see the show for free?
Give us a call and then just show up, direct people to their seats, wear all black. It's not that much work. Smile. Bring in six people and have fun.
Sounds like a party.
Well, if volunteers aren't in line, we send them home. It works out well for dorm rooms - people can come together if they want to organize it that way. We've had RAs do that in the past. It's a good opportunity because the tickets are $56 a piece. So if you don't want to shell out the cash, for very little work, you can see a top notch show.
How does the scheduling work? Can I go tomorrow or do I have to wait six months?
We take up to 12 ushers per performance, and it's a one time thing, so just call.
What's wrong with those guys?
Who?
The Blue Men.
The Blue Men?
What's up with them? They're so freaky and blue.
I don't think there's anything wrong with them. They don't have ears. [Laughs] I don't know, they're just out to have a good time.
To volunteer, call (617) 426-6912
