What a fantastic and amazing photo shoot. As I perused through your photos I kept expecting to find a photograph of the greatest Olympian of all times. I accept that your purpose was not to include ever winner but in my opinion no photograph set of the 2008 Olympics is complete without at least one photo of Michael Phelps.

great pics! but your caption for picture #9 is misleading. there is no jumping either from the bottom or the sides of the pool in waterpolo. it's not allowed, and most of the time the water is too deep. it is common to play an entire game and never touch the bottom. it is a grueling game.

WONDERFUL PICTURES TRULY CATCHING ATHLETES AND SPORTS.
TOO MUCH MONEY SPENT BY CHINESE WHEN THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE HOMELESS AND STARVING IN THAT COUNTRY. A TOUGH ACT FOR LONDON TO FOLLOW, BUT FEEL THE CHINESE WILL REIGN SUPREME FOR A LONG TIME REGARDING THEIR PRESENTATION OF THIS AUSPICIOUS OCCASION.

It was a nice show but I believe that Athens 2004 was more cult and nearly to the athletic ideals.
It was looking like a big show and we don’t like what’s happen with little girl in the first day.
It was big ratsism.
And I also believe that they must take back all thaw metals front thaw athletes from Russia for what they did to Georgia.
Let see London…

In particular i like photos captured in the moment of an athlete winning,eg picture 19, such powerful emotions and relief.
Also i also like the images of athletes in action, by seeing the detail of their body postures, and each muscle in action- eg picture 9,10,25,26,29

It is in fact Shawn Crawford to Usain Bolt's right in the first picture, and not Wallace Spearmon as the accompanying text suggests. Spearmon was in lane 9 with Crawford in lane 4.
