More, we hat those for which our media asks, without trying to get information from other sources. We are much eager to take listen from one side and hat the other side, without knowing the exact facts. Facts are always hidden from us, and we are used like puppets by our governments, media, and religious leaders. we are just like sheeps and have no mind, brian, and reasoning.
No!, we are worse than sheeps, as they have no reasoning, and we have reasoning and brain but are not eager to use it.
I wonder what will come of this world, as science and techonology advances and so the hatred among humans. Look all over the world, Asia, N. America, Africa, East Europ, all over the world.
Science and technology is not helping humanity at all. Information Technology is used to spread false propaganda and misleading information, to use mass like puppets.
Where are we going? I don't know.

It seems like the biggest problem in the world is failure to get along. Many people labor under the delusion that dropping bombs (or strapping them on to your chest) is going to solve the worlds problems.

26/11 was the day when we heard that our Metro City Mumbai attacked by the terrorists. Even nobody believes that why they attacked on TAJ HOTEL. I don't have words to express my anger & my grief. It was inhuman behaviour! And now, a few days back, on a news channel, they were flashing a news headline on the bottom of the screen -- "Pita ne banaya Jehadi" & "Hum bhi insaan hain - Kasab" (Translation: "Father made me a Jehadi", "We too are Human beings" - Kasab, the terrorist caught during Mumbai Attacks). Lo, aur suno! ye bhi insaan hain!! What about the people who these guys killed? Were they not humans? I wonder where r all those Human Rights people...why didn't they come forward & ask these terrorists what kind of humanity did they show on 26/11. They are all so eager to create a nuisance against Indian forces when a terrorist is killed in Kashmir or elsewhere but where were they when Indian cities repeatedly got attacked by the terrorists & civilians were brutally murdered. They never show up! I wonder where people like Medha Patkar & Arundhati Roy are. Nobody even come forward to condemn the killings.

Anyways, I don't think anybody can bring India - a country of more than one billion, on her knees by murdering 171. Infact, I think these attacks (although got a lot of innocent people killed) went in favour of India. Not only the world today sees the face of Pakistan as it really is, but also that 26/11 & a lot of earlier attacks made people understand that country comes before religion. I know ignorant & extremist Pakis have always used the Godhra massacre as a justification for their hostilities & have directly or indirectly blamed Indians (Indian Muslims to be more precise. See at the bottom of this post)* for every killing since then, but something that most people never notice is that after Godhra massacre, Varanasi temple was attacked, but no communal riots took place. Infact, both communities condemned attacks & some hindu as well as muslim groups even invited each other for Iftaar party that year! The same communal harmony was also exhibited by both when Hanuman temples were attacked in Jaipur & a bomb exploded in Ajmer Dargah...no one blamed each other.

So, I think, in a way, terrorist attacks have brought common man in India a lot closer to each other irrespective of their religion. Now THAT justifies the use of the term "Unity in Diversity"!

Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who explained each of their beliefs.

I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say. The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video.

After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.

When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked: 'Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?'

There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, 'Non-believers!'

I responded, 'So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can have a place in heaven. Is that correct?'

The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of 'a little boy who had just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.'

He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.'

I then stated, 'Well, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope Benedict commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr. Stanley ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them a place in heaven!'

The Imam was speechless!

I continued, 'I also have a problem with being your 'friend' when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question. Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?'

You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam remained speechless.

You had mentioned the names of the christains speaker (Pope Benedict) and the protestants speaker (Dr. Stanley) why havent you not mentioned the name of the islamic speaker. I fail to understand, anyways... I dont see where does this person gets his facts from. if you want the whole chapter 55 i will copy and paste the text to you (which i have done previously). Inspite of this my friend has not changed his perception. remove your blinkers and use your judgement to analize things, dont believe what you hear, do your research and then derive at a conclusion. I too sent the entire commenteries on chapter 55 here-but was not published -all of give your email ids & I will send you the irrefutable evidence of these 72 virgins & other rewards in the 'HOLY" book . You can no more fool others by calling it most peaceful religion etc-- The commenteries even by eminent mullahs on it will shame you to eat your words-- it is all there- only you want to bury your head & not see & admit it like an Ostrich.
