Hampshire House Corporation, the company that runs Hampshire House, 75 Chestnut, 75 on Liberty Wharf, Cheers Beacon Hill, and Cheers Faneuil Hall, plan to add yet another eatery to their restaurant empire as long as the plan gets official approval from the city, Eater reports.
The proposed restaurant, 75 on Cambridge, which would be located on the former site of Grampy’s gas station (209 Cambridge St.), could open in the fall of 2014, seating between 120 and 130 people, according to The Beacon Hill Times.
The project, spearheaded by Hampshire House owner Thomas A. Kershaw, must be heard and approved by the Beacon Civic Association (BHCA) Zoning and Licensing Committee for the city-permitting process to begin. We'll have to wait for more news on this before we know the restaurant's definite future.
What do you think? Would this be a good addition to Boston's culinary scene? Or do you not approve?
