A century-old bakery shuts its doors

Sad news from the North End this morning: North End Waterfront reports that Boschetto's Bakery will shutter after 110 years in business, due to a rent hike. The neighborhood institution's last day is July 6. They'll continue to sell some of their wares to commercial customers from Parziale’s Bakery on Prince Street.
