Our pals at Urban Daddy report that Gather opens today at the Innovation District's District Hall. District Hall, which opened this summer, is designed to be the "hub" of the new neighborhood, hosting public events, training groups, and business meetings. In a Globe article a few months ago, Mayor Menino called it a place for entrepreneurs to "gather, innovate, and create jobs." Now they can eat well, too.

UD notes an under-construction aesthetic (mismatched lightbulbs, exposed extension cords), a rotating assortment of specials like duck tacos and porchetta (a food of the moment, it seems), and Chartreuse cocktails to keep that entrepreneurial energy flowing. There's also a dozen local beers on tap.

Their website is also a work in progress, but you can check it out here. Hopefully it'll be updated with daily menus.

District Hall is also home to new coffee shop Brew.

Gather, 75 Northern Ave., Boston
