A couple of months ago, I wrote about the team behind Island Creek Oyster Bar opening a spin-off restaurant, Row 34, in Fort Point. At the time, restaurateur Garrett Harker tantalized with tales of local brew and fresh seafood influenced by "a world approach to flavors and spices," concocted by Francisco Millan, who was the sous chef at Island Creek. Well, Row 34 is now open, just in time for all your Thanksgiving bivalve and beer needs.

Urban Daddy has a peek at the menu. It's easily navigable, divvied into sections for smoked and cured fish, ceviches, rolls, fried plates, and raw delicacies. I'm most curious about the deviled crab toast (a 1970's dinner party staple), Ethel's creamy lobster roll (there's a version at ICOB, too), and fish head terrine (fish head is, well, rearing its head on lots of local menus lately).

Eater notes that it's dinner-only for now, but expect lunch in a few weeks. And, as every fan of ICOB knows, expect it to be packed pretty much all the time.
