Here's a delicious new addition to JP: Aurum, newly opened at 377A Centre St., serves Lebanese meat pies and Syrian dough pockets — treats that owners Matthew Virzi and manager Andrea Belanger ate growing up. The owners told Boston.com that they “couldn’t think of a better idea than adopting that memory evoking dough and adding fillings with fresh and wholesome ingredients." Agreed.
