Entwistle convicted of murder

Neil Entwistle, a British computer engineer who met and married an exchange student from Massachusetts, was convicted yesterday of shooting and killing her and their baby daughter in their Hopkinton home. (By Franci R. Ellement and Michael Levenson, Boston Globe)

State set to allege securities fraud

Leaving 'Little Rome' for Braintree

Today, the Archdiocese of Boston is moving to an office park in Braintree, by Route 128. The neighboring hilltops feature a multiplex, a sports club, and a lottery billboard; the only gleaming comes from the cars at the nearby Logan Express lot and a T.G.I. Friday's. (By Michael Paulson, Boston Globe)

Then, they'd start the courtship with some dancing and perhaps a little affection. Finally, it would culminate in a chick. But yesterday afternoon at the Franklin Park Zoo, Pepe and Kotze, two African wattled cranes, looked less than amorous. (By Ryan Kost, Boston Globe)
