Globe metro columnist Brian McGrory has a piece today on the murders that rocked Mattapan earlier this week.

"When it seems that it can’t get any worse in this season of senseless death," he writes, "it somehow does, and the soul and psyche of an entire city are tainted by these unthinkable crimes."

Unfortunately for the city, Brian has had plenty to write about this year when it comes to violence.

Brian will be taking questions from The Angle, so if you have one about the latest incident or violence in the city in general, post it in the comments section below. We'll pick a few and he'll answer them in a post later on.

(UPDATE: Thanks for the questions, everyone. We've passed some of them on to Brian and should be posting his responses on Friday.)
