I was curious about how these numbers stacked up to other states, so I got in touch with the folks at Rasmussen, who were kind enough to send over state-by-state data on two questions: "Consider Yourself Part of Tea Party Movement?" and "Is the Tea Party Movement Good or Bad for the country?"
As it turns out, the tea is merely lukewarm in Massachusetts.
I can't post the entire charts because they're behind a paywall, but here are the top and bottom five states, sorted by "yes" answers, on the first question:

So while it would be foolish to write off the Tea Party movement here given that a full quarter of Massachusetts residents say they support it, it's clear that the state is at or near the bottom of the nation when it comes to overall Tea Party enthusiasm.
