First look: the T's new merchandise

Although Boston.com readers seem to be having a good time submitting cheeky, cheesy and sarcastic slogans for the MBTA's new T-themed merchandise — "This is my T shirt" is my (cheesy) favorite — it turns out the paraphernalia probably won't feature slogans at all. According to WardMaps, the company the MBTA has hired to create and sell its merchandise, the shirts, mugs, posters and other items will be a mix of artistic, historical and literal — not funny and self-deprecating.
