Friday is the deadline for Obama to show his commitment to the Endangered Species Act by ordering the removal of electric dams that prevent the spawning of salmon in the Northwest. We think he should. The removal is far cheaper than the crazy alternatives such as ladders and trucking the salmon to spawning grounds. (Full article: 195 words)
