While NASA needs to evolve, the universe still beckons

President Obama made the right decision to end the quest to return to the moon by 2020, allowing NASA to concentrate on developing space technology while partnering with other nations and private companies on manned flights. This is not the end of the manned space program, as some are predicting, but rather a necessary honing of the mission of an agency that has been somewhat adrift since its Apollo heyday.
