After serving in leadership positions for both Democratic and Republican governors, Stephen P. Crosby has earned a reputation as an honest broker. Now that Governor Patrick has chosen him to head the Massachusetts Gaming Commission, Crosby must work even harder to maintain that reputation. The gaming industry has spent millions of dollars to gain the right to expand into Massachusetts. Casino backers will spend millions more to win one of three full casino licenses now up for grabs.
