The Titanic is a never-ending source of interest not so much because it sank -- ships do sometimes sink -- but because it was full of people and stories, writes Alan Wasserman. Who remembers today that the Titanic had a kosher cook on board to serve the needs of those lowly Jewish passengers in steerage?
