I WENT to boston.com around the end of the Saturday Red Sox-Yankees game and read the headline "Sox outlast rain, Yankees." It should have read "Sox outlast rain, Yankees, and Fox network." As Sox closer Jonathan Papelbon had a 3-2 count on Yankee second baseman Robinson Cano with two outs in the 9th inning - we got to see race cars streaming around a track in Phoenix. Whoopee!
So who is the genius at Fox who made the decision, regardless of contractual obligation, to switch to NASCAR racing here in Boston during a Sox-Yankees game? Find that person, and move him or her to being in charge of election coverage!
