JIMMY CARTER is at it again! By negotiating with notorious international terrorists despite the explicit requests of the State Department, Carter gravely undermines our national security and destroys what dwindling prestige he still enjoys as a former president.
By his stubborn insistence on meddling in international affairs, he exhibits an arrogance and a reckless disregard for the national interests of the United States that is unprecedented in the long and otherwise honorable history of those who have held the high office he once occupied.
I only hope that Condoleezza Rice will issue a statement to the effect that he has no authority whatsoever to speak on behalf of, or as a representative of, the United States.
