THANK YOU, Alex Beam, for your piece on the for-profit bookseller GotBooks.com ("Charity begins at home for this bookseller," Living/Arts, May 17). GotBooks is diverting book donations from real nonprofits. In particular, many library friends groups rely on sales of used books to fund children's programming, museum passes, and other popular library services.
