Could this T-seat tip gain traction?

WITH REGARD to those confounded Newton's Third Law-abiding T-riders of the Blue Line ("Slip sliding away on the Blue Line," Page A1, June 6), may I suggest a possible solution: Carry one or more of those open-weave rubber placemats on with you, and sit on it. I've had success placing them between my cutting boards and granite countertop to prevent sliding.
